Medanalysis diagnostic centre is a newly established private clinical laboratory located in the heart of Limassol. Eleana Hadjisolomou received her BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Essex. She then obtained four MSc degrees in science in the UK in the fields of medical microbiology, immunology, clinical biochemistry, haematology and transfusion science. The universities she attended were all accredited by the institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) giving her the eligibility to apply for registration with the HCPC as a biomedical scientist in the UK. She is an extremely passionate and ambitious individual in the scientific and clinical field justified by her academia. Eleana is also a member of the association of Cypriot Clinical Laboratory Directors since 2016. Her studies as well as the clinical experience she gained both in the UK and Cyprus in all departments, made her a competent individual in the field.
Vanessa Georgia Hadjisolomou is a biomedical scientist with expertise in embryology and assisted reproduction (In Vitro Fertilisation). She is awarded with an accredited IBMS degree in biomedical science by the University of Essex which is also approved by the HCPC in the U.K. Vanessa has not only extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Haematology but also in Genetics and Molecular Basis of Cancer. She received an MSc degree by the Imperial College London in Reproductive and Developmental Biology, gaining expertise in germs cells; gametes, the development of gonads and the early stages of fertilisation, preimplantation embryos until implantation and development. She concentrated on human pregnancy development and complications, the causes of infertility and treatment possibilities. Vanessa has undertaken a research project in male fertility, at Hammersmith Hospital London.
